Debate Preparation

When helping you prepare for a debate, whether an appearance with your opponents at a local civic center or an onstage in a nationally televised debate, our goal is the same – to have you be the most prepared, persuasive and personable candidate on any stage.  Debates are opportunities for you to separate yourself from the competition and build a positive relationship with a large group of potential voters.  But they also carry the risk for potential public misstep.  Anticipating each question and possible line of attack are essential to successful preparation.

With New Strategies Group on your side you can be confident you are prepared to excel in the most challenging of public forums.  Through issue research and briefings, communications training and mock debate sessions you will enter the debate with confidence and walk off that stage one step closer to victory.

Did You Know?

In the early stages of the 1984 general election major polls showed Ronald Reagan's re-election bid down double-digit points.  With Ed Rollins as Reagan's National Campaign Director the campaign recovered to win one of the most amazing election victories in American history, turning that 18-point deficit into an 18 percent advantage in the popular vote.  On Election Day the campaign won 49 out of 50 states and the highest number of electoral votes ever in the Electoral College.
