Message and Issues Development

New Strategies Group knows the importance of early stage development for your long-term message and supporting stances on key issues.  Until a campaign can clearly articulate its core values and major selling points in a clear and concise manner, it faces difficulties in marketing itself to prospective donors, volunteers and — ultimately — the voters.

NSG works with political clients at the local, state, national and international levels to effectively build, modify and market their messages in the best possible light.  We know no two campaigns are alike in their core values and communication abilities, so we approach each campaign uniquely, without any preconceived notions of what it should be or how it should present its message.  Instead we draw upon our years of experience in this area, to help our client/partners build a customized messaging element that is tailored to your campaign strategy.

Did You Know?

In the early stages of the 1984 general election major polls showed Ronald Reagan's re-election bid down double-digit points.  With Ed Rollins as Reagan's National Campaign Director the campaign recovered to win one of the most amazing election victories in American history, turning that 18-point deficit into an 18 percent advantage in the popular vote.  On Election Day the campaign won 49 out of 50 states and the highest number of electoral votes ever in the Electoral College.
